THE RITUAL — 손맛

Brewed by feel.

Korean tea culture trusts the drinker. Sohn-mat — “the taste of one’s hands” — is the belief that intuition seasons better than instruction. Our recommendations are a place to begin. Never law.

  1. Warm

Bring mineral water just past the pearl-bubble point, then let it rest until the steam rises softly.

  2. Steep

A single gram of leaves. One quiet minute. Pour slowly, and watch the color arrive.

  3. Return

Steep again, and once more — two minutes, then four. Each cup reveals a different tea.

OUR STORY — 이야기

Stillness is not emptiness. It is the blank canvas — a clear mind with room for the next stroke. We offer Korean teas as gentle reminders to pause, to breathe, and to return to yourself.

THE FIELD OUR TEA IS PICKED FROM — HADONG, SOUTH KOREA 01 / 02 · 하동

Founded in 2019 by a collective of Koreans and Korean-Americans, Koyo bridges a two-thousand-year tea tradition and the pace of modern life. We came to tea from different paths and converged on a single philosophy: stillness leads a healthier, more balanced life.

THE SEASONAL LETTER — 계절마다

One letter, each season.
